Culinary Union Wins A Round
(Las Vegas, NV) – Score one for the Culinary Union in its long-standing feud with Station Casinos.
The National Labor Relations Board says Station Casinos violated federal labor laws in its ongoing battle with the Union. The locals casino firm had been accused of taking action against employees involved in organizing efforts.
Culinary officials hailed the NLRB decision, but Station spokeswoman Lori Nelson accused the union of waging a, quote, “ongoing campaign of harassment.” She says the company is considering its options, including a federal court appeal.
