(Las Vegas, NV)  —  There’s good and bad news for regular users of Regional Transportation Commission buses.

Fares on the Strip and downtown routes have gone up, while the discount for residential pass holders has been reduced.  But the RTC has extended several popular routes, while others will run more frequently.

The Strip and All-Access 24-Hour Pass will increase to $8 from $7, while the 2-Hour Access Pass will increase from $5 to $6.

For residential routes, a 15-day pass for $34 will replace the current five-day pass, and the reduced-fare discount offered on residential routes will be half off for all passes. Reduced-fare day passes will cost $2.50, reduced-fare 15-day passes will cost $17, and reduced-fare monthly passes will cost $32.50.
