(Reno, NV) – The two major candidates for Nevada’s U.S. Senate seat square off in their first debate tonight.
Incumbent Dean Heller and Democrat Shelley Berkley face each other on the University of Nevada Reno campus. Two more debates will be held in Las Vegas next month.
Recent polls show Heller with a slight lead over Berkley. Both candidates are expected to challenge each other on the economy, foreign policy, Medicare and ethics.
The one-hour debate will air on VegasPBS Channel 10, starting at 8:00 p.m.
