(Reno, NV) — A group of homeless people in Reno got into a verbal altercation leading to the stabbing of one man.
46 year-old Nick Calhoun and a witness were sleeping under an overpass when a male and female began arguing. Calhoun told the male and female to “shut up” as they were trying to sleep.
Bad Idea. 39 year-old Daniel Lowe, a friend of the two people arguing charged toward the overpass and stabbed Calhoun in the left leg with an 18-inch homemade sword.
Lowe was arrested on battery with a deadly weapon and was booked at Washoe County Jail.
His bail was set at $20,000
