(Las Vegas, NV)  —  The Clark County School District has set a new record for student enrollment.

A head count shows just over 311,000 students are attending the nation’s fifth-largest school district.  That’s slightly above the all-time high reported four years ago, and about 3000 students more than last year.

Hispanics now make up 44% of Clark County’s students, with Caucasian students accounting for 29% of those enrolled.
