(Carson City, NV) — Thousands of Nevadans who lost their homes to foreclosure could get a settlement.
Attorney General Catherine Cortez Masto says information packets are being sent to nearly 67,000 Silver State residents who lost their homes between January 2008 and December 2011. They could qualify for up to $2000, as part of a settlement with five major banks.
Masto is urging homeowners not to pay for help with the settlement process.
