LAS VEGAS (CBS Las Vegas) – World-renowned actress Gwyneth Paltrow recently admitted that she only allows her two children to watch television if programs are aired in Spanish or French.

Her 8-year-old daughter Apple and 6-year-old son Moses are native English speakers.

While speaking with InStyle magazine, Paltrow said her children were “cross” with her for the practice.

“When I’m in France, I go to [Boulevard] Beaumarchais and buy all their cartoons,” she added.

Paltrow, who has raised the children alongside husband and Coldplay front man Chris Martin, has also brought her self-described “draconian diet” into their home.

“Oh, how my heart leaps when I see [my children] munching down kale with brown rice,” she was quoted as saying in her cookbook, “My Father’s Daughter.”
