Miller Cuts Overseas Trip Short
(Carson City, NV) — Secretary of State Ross Miller’s trip to the Middle East has been cut short by unrest in the region. Miller and other officials were touring military bases as part of a fact-finding trip on overseas voting issues when the attacks in Libya broke out.
Miller says the unrest “emphasize the importance of protecting democracy by ensuring our armed forces can easily vote in elections.”
The deadline for online voter registration is October 6th.
