(Las Vegas, NV) Search and rescue crews will try again today to find a worker swept away in a flood channel during Tuesday afternoon’s storms.

Family members say 38-year-old Calletano Lopez was working on a tractor at the Desert Rose Golf Course near Sahara and Nellis, when the groundskeeper went missing.

Police say Lopez’s tractor was covered in about a foot of water. Ground search teams spent yesterday looking for Lopez, but ended operations yesterday afternoon. Authorities say they doubt Lopez is still alive, and the rescue has become a recovery effort.
