(Las Vegas, NV) — When the Federal Government tells you to do something it is a good idea to adhere to the request.

And that’s what the Regional Transportation Commission of Souther Nevada is busy doing. The RTC is updating its plan to create a long-range transportation plan in the Las Vegas metro. area. But if you think it is just about public transportation you would be mistaken.

The plan includes improvements for roads, transit and bicycle/pedestrian projects through 2035. The Vision of the RTC is: To provide a safe, convenient and effective regional transportation system that enhances mobility and air quality for citizens and visitors.

The commission is asking for feedback from the public and you do so in two different ways. One, log onto rtcsnv.com and take a survey to offer your opinion on the transportation goals. And two, call 702 228 7433 and you can talk to a representative about your concerns and ideas.
