Videos May Remain Up In Burkett Case
(Las Vegas, NV) — Las Vegas police do not have to remove any videos in relation to suspected serial killer Nathan Burkett.
Justice of the Peace Eric Goodman made the ruling after Deputy Special Public Defender Alzora Jackson asked they be removed. Jackson claims that her client is being “vilified” in the videos and that it will not be possible for him to receive a fair trial because of the videos from the LVMPD.
One video was removed and one remains
Burkett, 65, is charged with sexually assaulting and killing two women in 1978 and 1994.
A preliminary hearing has been set for 9 a.m. Oct. 5.
