(Las Vegas, NV) — Senator Dean Heller has received some campaign help from a rising figure in the Republican party. Florida Senator Marco Rubio stumped for Heller in Las Vegas and Reno yesterday.
During a gathering of donors at The Venetian, Rubio blasted President Obama’s economic policies, and told supporters Heller’s election was important if the GOP hoped to regain control of the U.S. Senate in November.
Meanwhile, Democratic opponent Shelley Berkley took aim at Heller’s voting record. She claims Heller, “voted twice to end Medicare by turning it over to private insurance companies.”
