GEORGE NOORY IN LAS VEGAS: Get tickets now -- be there June 9!

(Las Vegas, NV)  —  A proposed shipping container retail and entertainment park in downtown Las Vegas has cleared a key hurdle.

The city planning commission has recommended approval for Container Park, which would create start-up businesses and other attractions on the corner of Fremont and Seventh Streets.

It’s part of a $350 million urban renewal plan supported by Zappos CEO Tony Hsieh to help revitalize the downtown core.  The city council will consider the project next month.
