(North Las Vegas, NV) – The new VA Medical Center is open for business. Staffers welcomed the first patients at the $1 billion facility in North Las Vegas yesterday morning.
The North Pecos Road center will provide limited services for local veterans, including eye care, mental health and pharmacy needs. It’s expected to be fully operational by January.
Veterans can get to the VA center on a new express route that runs from the downtown Bonneville Transit Center. The DVX route will be free for local riders with a valid ID, starting this Sunday through September 1st.
