(Las Vegas, NV) — A man who is paralyzed from the waist down and operating his car with hand-held controls crashed his car through an office building Tuesday.
The accident happened about 10:30 a.m. at the corner of Jones and Edna.
Lee Barrett, owner of the building where the crash occured tells KXNT about the crash.
“We heard a bang and the bang was probably the tree that was hit. Next thing we saw in slow motion was the car coming through the building.”
Six people suffered injuries. Five were taken to a nearby hospital. Authorities say four of those were people inside the building, and one was inside the car. All suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
It is uncertain what caused the crash.
