RTC Board Rejects Union Employee Contract
(Las Vegas, NV) — It’s back to the drawing board for a new contract covering Regional Transportation Commission employees.
The RTC board yesterday praised talks between union officials and bargaining staff, but sent the proposed five-year agreement back. Members are concerned over the contract’s length, along with proposed cost-of-living hikes and longevity pay.
The union that represents nearly 200 RTC workers says more talks are scheduled for early September.
