(Las Vegas, NV) – An oil refinery fire in Northern California is sending Las Vegas gas prices higher.
AAA says the price for a gallon of regular is nearly $3.45. That’s up three cents from yesterday.
The blaze broke out earlier this week at the Chevron refinery in Richmond, forcing it to shut down.
A cause remains under investigation, and an official says it will take some time to “truly assess” the amount of damage.
