Gaming Board Approves Casino For Online Poker
(Carson City, NV) — A southwest Las Vegas casino could be the first to operate an online poker site within Nevada’s borders.
The Gaming Control Board yesterday gave tentative approval to the South Point hotel. Casino officials say if all goes well, the site could begin testing by October.
The South Point was the first Nevada casino to apply, and could be the first to get an interactive gaming license when the Nevada Gaming Commission meets August 23rd.
