(Las Vegas) – Clark County Commissioner Tom Collins won’t face a gross misdemeanor charge in a shooting incident.
The attorney general’s office says it’s not pursuing the case because of what it called a lack of evidence.
A witness claimed at least seven gunshots were fired from Collins’ North Las Vegas property the night of July 3rd. Collins claimed he was performing his “usual celebration” for the Fourth of July.
He called the decision not to prosecute “good news,” but refused further comment.
