(Reno, NV)  —  A full military funeral is being held today for the Reno man who was shot and killed in a Colorado theater.

Twenty-six year-old Jonathan Blunk was one of 12 people who died during a showing of “The Dark Knight” in an Aurora multiplex last month.

He had served five years in the Navy.

A family friend tells the “Reno Gazette-Journal” Blunk may have saved more lives on the day of the shooting than first thought.  A woman who said she was Blunk’s girlfriend told the “Today Show” he threw her to the ground and shielded her from the bullets.
