(Las Vegas, NV) – A city committee has recommended a 300-foot “buffer zone” between food trucks and restaurants in Las Vegas.
The proposed ordinance was pushed by restaurant owners, who say the mobile trucks have hurt their businesses. An earlier plan for an 800-foot distance between the trucks and brick and mortar restaurants was voted down.
It now goes to the city council for approval August 15th.
