(Washington, DC) – Starting Wednesday, over 391,000 Nevada women will have access to preventive care services at no charge.
As part of the Affordable Care Act, women can obtain diabetes screening, breast exams, domestic violence counseling, contraception, and testing for the HPV virus without co-pays.
The Department of Health and Human Services says 47 million women across the nation will qualify for those services under their health insurance policies with no co-payment.
