(Las Vegas, NV)  —  Nevada drivers pay a greater portion of their earnings for car insurance that most other states.

A new survey by CarInsuranceQuotes.com says Silver State motorists pay nearly 3.5% of their annual incomes on vehicle coverage.  The average cost for insurance in Nevada is just over $2000 a year.

Michigan drivers shell out the largest percentage of their median income for car insurance, while Massachusetts drivers pay the smallest percentage.
