LAS VEGAS (AP) — The Clark County district attorney is clearing Las Vegas police in three officer-involved shootings more than a year ago.

DA Steve Wolfson issued findings Monday saying evidence showed officers acted lawfully in the deaths of Alberto Castillo, Luis Silva and Rafael Alonso Olivas.

Wolfson says officers tried Tasers and beanbag rounds in each case.

Castillo was also known as Carlos Renteria. Police shot him May 27, 2011, after he held a silver object to his wife’s throat during a domestic dispute with their two children nearby.

Silva died July 4, 2011, after police found him holding a gun to his head and threatening suicide.

Olivas was shot and killed July 14, 2011, after his mother called 911 during a domestic dispute.

Police said Olivas ignored orders to drop a knife.
