(Las Vegas, NV)  —  A hiker has led authorities to a major marijuana growing operation outside Las Vegas.

Metro Police say the hiker stumbled upon a grow farm in the Wallace Canyon area near State Route 160 on Wednesday.

Authorities found 11,000 pounds of pot, with a street value of more than $16 million.  It’s one of the largest outdoor marijuana grow operations ever in Clark County.  No arrests have been made.
