(Henderson, NV)  —  An assistant baseball coach at the College of Southern Nevada has been arrested in connection with a marijuana growing operation.

Henderson police raided the house near Warm Springs and Arroyo Grande last night, following a tip from neighbors.  They found nearly 200 pot plants inside, with an estimated street value of over $600,000.

Twenty-nine-year-old Ezekiel Parraz and 28-year-old Candice Blackwell were taken into custody.  Parraz had played baseball at UNLV and was drafted by the Kansas City Royals in 2001.
