CBS LAS VEGAS-Dr. Stephen Smith, who is the current president of Nevada’s Kids Count joined the program today. Dr. Smith spoke about the ongoing public education problem here in the state of Nevada. He elaborated on Las Vegas’ current board of education as well as what states in America are leading the country in education.
Successful Nevada small business owner Tim Wulf also joined us on “Live and Local.” Wulf, who owns a large amount of Jimmy Johns restaurants here in Las Vegas as well as in Reno, spoke with Kevin about President Obama’s recent comments about small business ownership in the U.S.
Kevin closed the show talking with listeners about the education crisis here in the valley. Parents, teachers, and administrators called in to give their opinion on how our city can improve this ongoing problem.
