Las Vegas – Two public forums are scheduled this week on the use of force by local police.

Several local groups are co-sponsoring the events. They have asked people who have been shot, beaten or tased by officers to tell their stories.

The first forum takes place at the Mexican Consulate on Sixth Street near Charleston, starting at 6:00pm Tuesday. Another public forum will be held Wednesday night at the Third Apostolic Assembly Church on Bonanza near Lamb.
