RENO, Nev. (AP) — Former presidential candidate Herman Cain plans to join Americans for Prosperity in Reno late Monday to protest President Obama’s policies and the U.S. Senate bid of Nevada Rep. Shelley Berkley.

Berkley is running against Republican incumbent Sen. Dean Heller.

Americans for Prosperity launched a statewide bus tour last week in Las Vegas. The bus will be parked in Reno at 3702 So. Virginia Street. That’s about a block north of the Reno-Sparks Convention Center where Obama spoke earlier in the day at the Veterans of Foreign Wars convention.

Presumptive Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney is scheduled to address the same group on Tuesday.
