(Las Vegas, NV) — Eight men are now on trial for a brawl between rival motorcycle gangs at a downtown Vegas wedding chapel. The “Review-Journal” says the defendants, some of whom are members of the Hells Angels, are charged with bludgeoning three rival Mongols members at A Special Memory chapel in 2008. In opening arguments yesterday, prosecutor Chris Owens called the assault an “unprovoked attack.” But defense attorney Tom Pitaro says it was self-defense because the defendants felt their lives were in danger.
