(Las Vegas, NV) — A Las Vegas judge has handed down the maximum jail sentence for two boys who drowned some kittens back in June.

The two juveniles have already spent 20 days in jail and will serve another ten before going on probation. The probation period will last until they are 21.

The boys will be under home supervision until they return to school.

Both boys were charged with two counts of felony animal cruelty and also face a recommended charge of conspiracy.
