(Las Vegas, NV) — Major losses has led to job cuts at the Las Vegas Hotel and Casino.
The “Sun” reports the former Las Vegas Hilton has been letting an unknown number of employees go. It’s unclear how many were laid off due to the slow summer season. The LVH has lost just over $5 million between February and May, more than four times earlier projections.
The hotel’s receiver says strong competition and the loss of its Hilton franchise resulted in fewer room bookings during May.
