(Carson City, NV)  —  Tomorrow marks the end of jobless benefits for about 5500 Nevadans.  Because the Silver State’s jobless rate has dropped below 12%, the federally-funded State Extended Benefits program will end.

It provided up to 20 weeks of assistance for the long term unemployed.

State employment officials say job seekers can get help through Nevada’s Job Connect system.
