(Henderson, NV)  –  Firefighters and police supervisors in Henderson have agreed to concessions that would help the city.

The city council this week approved two-year contract extensions for both groups.  They include cuts in health care benefits.  The city says the agreement will address a project budget deficit of nearly $14-million for the next fiscal year.

Similar concessions have been reached with Henderson’s police and corrections officers.
