Former UNLV President Dies

(Las Vegas, NV)  —  Funeral services are pending for former UNLV president Leonard “Pat” Goodall, who died Monday from melanoma.  He was 75-years-old.

A former chancellor at the University of Michigan-Dearborn, Goodall was named the Las Vegas university’s fourth president in 1979, and oversaw its tremendous growth until 1985.  He helped build several new campus facilities, including the Thomas and Mack Center.

After stepping down as president, Goodall taught management and public administration at UNLV until he retired in 2000.
