(Las Vegas, NV)  —  An ordinance for slot halls is on hold for now.

Clark County commissioners have tabled the measure, in part because operator Dotty’s is suing the county and the Nevada Gaming Commission over a rule requiring the chain to install bar top slot machines and a working kitchen in each location.

Casino operators have accused Dotty’s of acting like casinos or taverns, without being required to follow laws regulating either type of business.
