(Carson City, NV) – Nevada consumers seem to be the engine driving the state’s economic recovery.
The Department of Taxation says businesses sold more than $3.5-billion worth of goods and services in April. That’s up more than 5% from a year earlier.
Car dealers, restaurants and clothing stores are among the big gainers, but nearly every category showed improvement over April 2011.
