(Henderson, NV)  –  First Lady Michelle Obama is hoping to fire up her husband’s supporters at a rally this afternoon.

Campaign officials say the grassroots event will be held at the Henderson Convention Center, starting at 4:30 p.m.  Free tickets to the event may still be available at the Obama re-election headquarters on West Horizon Ridge Parkway.

It will be the First Lady’s first visit to Southern Nevada since she spoke to campaign donors in May.  President Obama spoke about student loans at UNLV earlier this month.
