(Las Vegas, NV) — Due to expected high winds, Clark County officials have issued an air quality advisory for dust this afternoon and evening.
The Clark County Department of Air Quality is sending notices to construction sites, asking them to take precautions to prevent blowing dust. At this time, unhealthy levels of dust are not occuring. Officials will continue to monitor the situation and upgrade the advisory to a warning if unhealthy levels occur.
Residents are encouraged to call Air Quality’s dust-conplaint hotline at (702) 385-DUST (3878) to report excessive amounts of blowing dust.
