LAS VEGAS — UNLV is one step closer to getting an on-campus football stadium. The Board of Regents has unanimously voted to move forward with a plan to build a stadium on the northwest part of UNLV.

The regents approved an exclusive negotiating agreement between UNLV and Majestic Realty Co.

The stadium would include an on-campus indoor stadium and would start renovations at the Thomas and Mack Center.

The stadium would hold 52,000 and would also include plans for student housing, dining, and retail space.
