(Carson City, NV) – Taxable sales rose in March, despite a slowdown in Clark County spending. The state Taxation Department says Silver State businesses sold nearly $4-billion worth of goods and services, up more than 7% from March 2011.
Sales in the Las Vegas Valley slowed for a nearly 2% year-to-year gain.
Utilities, vehicle sales, building supplies and clothing led the March increase.
