(Las Vegas, NV)  –  Mayor Carolyn Goodman has vowed to bring a professional sports team to Las Vegas.

The “Review-Journal” says Goodman recently told members of the local Rotary Club “on my dying breath there will be an NBA team.”  The mayor says she’s committed to getting a sports arena built downtown.

Her husband, former Mayor Oscar Goodman, also pushed for a Las Vegas sports team while in office.
