Nevadans Remember Fallen Soldiers, Families On Memorial Day

(Las Vegas, NV) — Memorial Day observances are are being held to remember the sacrifices made by those who have served in the American military.

Governor Brian Sandoval and Senator Harry Reid are among those attending today’s Memorial Day ceremony at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Boulder City.

Yesterday, a group of Vietnam veterans and Green Berets paid tribute to the fallen soldiers at the Boulder City burial site.  About 28,000 veterans have been buried at the cemetery since it opened in 1990.
