(Las Vegas, NV)  –  A new lawsuit challenging the state’s helmet law claims local law enforcement agencies violated a motorcyclist’s rights.

Attorney Travis Barrick is representing David Roy Stilwell in the federal lawsuit, which claims officers from several agencies had no probable cause to stop him.  The suit alleges officers did not know about the federal standard for legal helmets.

Earlier this year, a federal judge tossed out a similar class-action suit by Barrick, claiming it was too vague.
