(LAS VEGAS CBS KXNT) Billed as a “one-stop shopping” resource for entrepreneurs, the Business Success Center opened today in Las Vegas, offering free services to aspiring businesspersons.
Mayor Carolyn Goodman was on a small team of dignitaries wielding the giant scissors for the ribbon cutting. Former Congresswoman and current candidate Dina Titus was in attendance, and an aid read a message from Senator Dean Heller.
At the mention of “young entrepreneurs,” the mayor quipped that the center would also serve “old entrepreneurs.”
The center will offer legal, financial and marketing advice, under the direction of the University of Nevada’s Small Business Development Center.
The center is located in the Urban Chamber of Commerce building at 1951 Stella Lake Street. Its hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
