Las Vegas – UFC star Nick Diaz has been suspended and fined for having marijuana in his system.  On Monday The Nevada Athletic Commission suspended Diaz for 12 months, and fined him 60-thousand dollars.  Diaz tested positive for marijuana metabolites, after his February loss to Carlos Condit in Las Vegas.  The fighter claims he uses pot outside the ring to treat his attention deficit disorder.  Diaz’ suspension is retroactive to February.
