LAS VEGAS (CBS Las Vegas) — Say it ain’t so, JLo? It appears the curtain is closing on Jennifer Lopez’s brief tenure as a judge on “American Idol.”

According to E Online, this will be Lopez’s final season on Fox’s hit show.

“She’s just too busy,” a source told E Online.

Executive producer Nigel Lythgoe told TMZ Wednesday that he would not want Lopez to leave the show.

“We want her back. I want her back,” Lythgoe told TMZ.

The 42-year-old actress and performer reached a deal to be a judge on the singing comptition in 2010 after Simon Cowell, Ellen DeGeneres and Kara DioGuardi left.

Lopez is earning a reported $20 million for her role on the program this year.

Last month, Marc Anthony filed for divorce from Lopez after being married for seven years.

I think someone else can fill her shoes for much less money. It’s become too much of “The JLo show” in my humble opinion. Just get someone who’s knowledgeable about the music industry and can overlook all the bs.
