(Las Vegas, NV)  –  The district attorney’s office will now decide whether to charge a former Henderson councilwoman in an alleged extortion plot.

Clark County Commissioner Steve Sisolak claims his former girlfriend Kathleen Vermillion tried to shake him down for nearly four-million dollars, in exchange for her dropping a lawsuit.  It accused Sisolak of releasing her personal health records and having an improper relationship with her 15-year-old daughter.

The suit was later dropped.
