Las Vegas – After narrowing his choice of schools down to either UNLV or Oregon last weekend the number 7th ranked recruit in the country Anthony Bennett picked UNLV. The 6-foot-8 foward from  from Henderson’s Findlay Prep has been at the top of the list of many big name schools inluding Kentucky, Oregon, Washington and Florida. Bennett joins an already impressive recruiting class for Coach Dave Rice and Runnin’ Rebels who already signed Katin Reinhardt (San Juan Capistrano, Calif./Mater Dei) and transfer Khem Birch, a former McDonald’s All-American. Bennett tweeted this afternoon his choice this afternoon “Staying out West & will be going to #UNLV next yr .. Appreciate everyone that supported me through all this”. Bennett is the higest ranked recruit ofr UNLV since Larry Johnson.
