Decision Due In Dog Mauling Case
(Las Vegas, NV) – A judge will decide Friday morning whether a dog that killed a child will live or die.
Onion, a six-year old Mastiff-Rhodesian Ridgeback mix attacked and killed one-year old Jeremiah after the boy tugged on the dog during the child’s birthday party.
If a judge decides to spare the dog’s life he may be sent to a sanctuary in Colorado that takes in aggressive breeds. The other option is to put the dog down.
The Nevada Political Action for Animals will hold a rally at the Regional Justice Center at 9 a.m. A hearing to determine the fate of the dog is scheduled for 10 a.m.
